The work is a video performance depicting the cycle of relational rotation, in which the wounds of a previous relationship, the pain of its ending, we try to "patch over" with a new, ill-considered one, merely to survive the crushing emptiness. It is a temporary solution that leaves more and more wounds and patches on the garment of stability, gradually rendering it unusable.

My sound, together with the specific render of the video, create a harmony and attempt to translate the subjective realities of the individual through a synthesis of audio and video, drawing the observer into the performance. Before the final act, in which one becomes aware of a misery that has no way out and gives up the cycle, the garment is shed. By covering my face, I created something that concerns not only me; I represent a universal experience.

The work is about the author's subjective experience, during which he felt the sensation of microplastics embedding themselves into his flesh. Today, microplastics penetrate all layers of our bodies.

It's a suggested feeling, yet essentially a factual reality. Do they affect only the body, or also the way we think, feel, and perceive reality?

The resources available in our world are distributed unevenly. Those with access to power and wealth are able to create comfort for themselves, often at the expense of other parts of society or the world. If resources were shared fairly, all the arms of the starfish could be covered, and everyone could have an adequate share of comfort.

The interactivity draws the viewer directly into this dynamic, where they realize that every decision made in the pursuit of comfort has consequences for others.

My work therefore serves as a reminder that solving the problems of inequality and climate challenges requires a collective approach and a balance in the distribution of resources. When everyone pulls to their own side, all that remains is a constant cycle of scarcity and discomfort.
